CheckPointSpot® Establishes Global Headquarters, Marking Next Phase of Growth
On 15 April 2026, CheckPointSpot® reached a major milestone by opening its Global Headquarters in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This move reflects the company’s growth from a race-timing service into a data-driven sports technology platform within Asia’s endurance sports scene.
Meeting the Needs of a Growing Industry
Over the last ten years, participation in marathons, triathlons, and cycling events across Asia has grown steadily. While this brings new energy to the sport, it also makes organizing events more complex. Organizers now face bigger challenges in logistics, participant engagement, and meeting the high expectations of stakeholders.
In response, CheckPointSpot® has expanded its focus. We are building an integrated platform that links event operations with real-time data. This helps organizers manage their events more efficiently and provides the insights needed to improve planning and the overall participant experience.
A New Strategic Center
The new Global Headquarters serves as our strategic heart. By bringing leadership and regional partnerships together in one place, we can better align our technology with the needs of the Asian market.
This new office works alongside our Global Operations Hub in Sungai Buloh, which remains the engine for our on-ground event delivery. Together, these two hubs allow us to scale our services while remaining a reliable partner for events of all sizes.
Looking Forward
As CheckPointSpot® grows across the region, we are doubling down on data, technology, and partnerships. This headquarters is the foundation for our next chapter—one focused on innovation and better serving the sports community.
Our goal is simple: to help shape the future of endurance sports in Asia and create lasting value for organizers, partners, and athletes alike.
